This autumn, escape to the west of Ireland for a once-in-a-lifetime yoga retreat set within the storied walls of Temple House Estate, a historic lakeside manor nestled deep in the Irish countryside.

Late October and early November mark a sacred turning of the seasons—Samhain, the ancient Celtic festival honoring transformation, reflection, and renewal. As the land shifts and the veil thins, Ireland reveals its most atmospheric and magical self.

Picture mist rising from the lake at dawn, ancient trees glowing in amber and gold, and evenings spent beside crackling fires as stories echo through time. This is not just a retreat—it is an immersion into Ireland’s soul.

Accommodations

The adventure will begin as you arrive in Dublin on October 29th. Then sit back, relax, rest and enjoy the scenery as we travel by coach to the west of Ireland, Sligo County,

Upon arrival we will check into our home for the next week, Temple House Estate.

Temple House is a privately owned historic estate, lovingly held by the Perceival family for generations. During our retreat, the house is reserved exclusively for our group, offering complete privacy and an intimate, luxurious experience. With elegant bedrooms, inviting gathering spaces, a serene yoga room overlooking the grounds, and over 1,000 acres of lakes, gardens, and ancient woodlands to explore, Temple House is a rare setting for deep rest, connection, and immersion in Ireland’s timeless beauty.

Late autumn  in the Irish countryside carries a quiet enchantment.

Morning mists drift across Temple House Lake, slowly revealing the haunting ruins of a Knights Templar castle on its island. Crisp walks through the estate’s wooded grounds lead you back to the warmth of roaring fires, candlelit rooms, and the comforting embrace of history.

This is Ireland as the Celts knew it—mysterious, reverent, and deeply grounding.

Signature Experiences & Excursions

Exploring the Mystical West of Ireland

Each day will include a new adventure. From spending time exploring the expansive grounds of Temple House, to venturing out into the surrounding towns to explore local culture and history, to experiencing local festivals!

Storytelling by the Bonfire - As darkness falls, gather around a crackling bonfire on the estate grounds. A traditional seanchaí (Irish storyteller) will revive ancient folklore—tales of púcas, banshees, brave heroes, and the Otherworld that dances just beyond the firelight. Wrapped in warmth beneath the November sky, you’ll feel the magic that has carried these stories through centuries.

Samhain Supper - Celebrate Samhain with a special candlelit feast featuring seasonal Irish cuisine and ancient customs. Enjoy barmbrack bread with hidden fortunes, traditional colcannon, and the cozy glow of the manor’s hearth—an unforgettable evening honoring Celtic tradition, transformation, and community.

Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery - Walk among Ireland’s largest collection of Stone Age tombs—sacred ground where rituals took place over 5,000 years ago. Visiting during Samhain season adds a powerful sense of reverence and connection to those who walked here long before us.

Classiebawn Castle & Mullaghmore - Perched dramatically along the Wild Atlantic Way, this striking coastal castle offers breathtaking views of ocean, mountains, and moody skies. Explore the harbor village of Mullaghmore and experience the raw beauty of Ireland’s northwest coast.

Sligo Abbey - Step into the haunting beauty of this 13th-century Dominican friary. Gothic arches, medieval tombs, and remarkably preserved stone carvings tell stories of faith, resilience, and history woven deep into the land.

Celtic Halloween Festival - Experience one of Ireland’s most vibrant cultural celebrations at the Celtic Halloween Festival, where myth and folklore come alive through spirits, banshees, ancient legends, and time-honored Samhain traditions. Spectacular pageantry fills the streets with towering puppets, rhythmic drumming, blazing fire displays, and imaginative costumes, creating an atmosphere that is both electrifying and deeply rooted in history. Alongside the parades, local communities gather to share food, music, markets, and hands-on workshops, inviting you to fully immerse yourself in the culture. These events are more than festivals—they are living history, honoring the ancient Celtic traditions that evolved into modern-day Halloween.

Daily Yoga & Soulful Stillness - Each day includes intentional yoga and meditation, thoughtfully designed to support rest, reflection, and nervous system renewal. Practices will be accessible, grounding, and deeply nourishing—allowing you to fully arrive in your body while soaking in the quiet power of the land.

This retreat is about slowing down, reconnecting with yourself, and aligning with nature’s rhythms.
