Strong Yoga Strong You
Saturdays, September 14 to November 2, 2024 9:45am - 10:45am
During this exciting new series you will learn ways to strengthen your body and mind with yoga.
Each class will start with gentle stretches to warm up the body. Once warmed, you’ll be led through a series of body weight exercises to strengthen the body, intermingled with various yoga asanas to challenge the body. These exercises are designed to tone, strengthen, create stability, and deepen awareness of proprioception (the ability to perceive our position and movements).
Then rest in savasana with a guided meditation to strengthen the mind and cultivate an attitude of mindfulness. This will create a sense of inner peace, balance, and release of stress.
Cost: $144 per guest

Harvest Moon Yin Yoga Workshop
Tuesday, September 17, 2024 6:45pm - 8:15pm
Harness the power of the full harvest moon. The full moon is the perfect time to reflect on the previous lunar cycle and practice gratitude for all that we have manifested. Paired with a Yin yoga practice, a slower paced practice done seated or reclined. Yin is perfect for the winter season. It reminds us to slow down and go inward to cultivate a frosty yin energy. Poses are held on an average of 3 to 20 minutes depending on the level of the practitioner. While holding the yogi is encouraged to soften and relax into the posture, allowing the connective tissues (particularly in the joints) to stretch and release tension. Props are encouraged in this practice and modifications are offered to assist in finding your edge.
Cost: $38 per guest
Preregistration required. No refunds or credits will be given.

Yoga & Acupuncture
Sunday, September 29, 2024 5:30pm - 7pm
Welcome to your monthly reset. Your monthly moment to come home to yourself. Your monthly check in.
Yoga and Acupuncture is a unique opportunity to gently move the stagnation we often feel in the body and mind followed by a deep rest to give the body space to adapt, cultivate its natural healing desire, and settle into the parasympathetic (rest and digest function of the body). Within the practice, we will start with a mix of breath-work and a slow flow followed by an extended savasana where you will receive acupuncture/acupressure and gentle tui na (Traditional Chinese Medicine Massage). You’ll get to experience what us acupuncturists refer to as a “needle nap” which can be an incredibly deep rest for some.
All of these modalities are to your comfort, always. We hope you are able to walk away feeling calm, present in your own body, and deeply cared for and nourished.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Hygge Wintering Workshop - Candlemaking, Yoga, Journaling, Snack, and Connection
Sunday, December 15, 2024 2:30pm - 5pm
Hygge is a Danish word that means creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people. It reminds us that with the cold of winter it is important to find sparks of joy, comfort, and connection.
Enjoy an afternoon of connection with our studio family during this joyful event. We will start by exploring the aspects of hygge, wittering and how to introduce more coziness and rest into our winter. As you‘ll learn, fire and soft light is an essential part of hygge, this will be celebrated by making our own natural beeswax candles. Containers, decorations, instructions, and everything else needed will be supplied. After candle making, you’ll be invited to get comfy and settle in with tea or hot chocolate and delicious treats for an extended time of journaling/reflecting on hygge and winter themed prompts or coloring. The afternoon will end with a gentle yin yoga practice and long cozy savasana.
