Yoga Motion Series

Tuesdays, September 22 to October 27, 2020       5:30 to 6:30 pm

This series is a gentle practice that allows self-expression through the use of peaceful music and flowing yoga poses. In this series we will focus on ease of motion, allowing the music to guide the practice as we open ourselves up to the grace and beauty of each movement. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our "inner swan".
Wear loose, comfortable clothing, and bring a mat, blanket and water.
This class is being offered as a 6 week series. Credit will not be offered for classes missed by a participant.

CPR Class

Saturday, September 26, 2020       12:30 to 3:30 pm

This 3-hour CPR Certification course includes CPR care for adults, children and infants, relief of choking and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
For community members who need a CPR credential for work. Not for healthcare professionals such as nurses, paramedics or physicians.

The course fee is $55.00 and includes certification card, preregistration required. Led by Joel Demers

Core and Restore

Sunday, October 4, 2020       10:30 to Noon

Join Jess for a dynamic 45 minute Vinyasa class with fun core strengthening exercises woven in. Then relax and let go during 45 minutes of blissful Restorative Yoga. A perfect way to tone, strengthen, and pamper yourself!

Let It Fall Away Yoga Workshop

Sunday, October 25, 2020       5:30 to 7:00 pm

Every season is a reminder that nothing lasts forever. Honoring this change allows us to release things that no longer serve us and be open for new experiences in our lives.
Join Jess for a dynamic practice to stretch, move, and clear stuck energy. This workshop will include various guided meditation and pranayama techniques to calm the mind and body.

Yin Yoga Series

Tuesdays, November 3 to December 8, 2020       6:00 to 7:00 pm

Yin yoga is a slower paced practice done seated or reclined. Poses are held on an average of 3 to 5 minutes depending on the level of the practitioner. While holding the yogi is encouraged to soften and relax into the posture, allowing the connective tissues (particularly in the joints) to stretch and release tension. Props are encouraged in this practice and modifications are offered to assist in finding your edge.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing, and bring a mat, blanket and other yoga props you have. Bolsters and some props will be provided as needed. Shared props will be assigned and stored in plastic bags between classes for safety and sanitation reasons.
This class is being offered as a 6 week series. Credit will not be offered for classes missed by a participant.

New Moon Restorative Yoga

Sunday, November 15, 2020       6:00 to 7:30 pm

The new moon is a time of rebirth, renewal, and reflection. It offers a reminder to clarify our intentions and ask the universe for assistance in realizing them.
The practice will begin with breath work, encouraging you to focus on the breath throughout the session. At this time participants will be encouraged to reflect on their intention for the new moon phase. We will then move into gentle poses to warm up the body and release stuck energy. Next, transitioning to gentle therapeutic Restorative Yoga poses, using props to support the body in restful still positions. The focus is to quiet the mind and restore the central nervous system. It a soothing and nurturing practice. You will feel refreshed and energized as you move through your week after an 90 minute group session.

Holiday Stress Reduction

Sunday, December 6, 2020       5:00 pm to 6:30 pm

Are you feeling the stress in your day to day life? Learn to ease your anxiety with movement, guided meditation, and various breathing exercises. Gain tips and techniques to tap into the feeling of grounding, centeredness, and stillness outside of the studio setting. Calming the mind and body, leaving you to feel energized, focused, and open to fully enjoy life.
