Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice used for stress reduction, relaxation and the promotion of healing. No previous background nor skills are required to learn Reiki – just an open mind and a willingness to help others.
Course description:
This one day course is the beginning level of Usui Reiki training. You will learn the history of Reiki, gain a basic understanding of chakras, learn basic healing techniques, hand placements and learn to scan the body for energy. You will receive your attunement, hands-on practice, receive class materials and your certification.
After completion, you will be able to give yourself Reiki, your family, friends, even pets. We will begin and end the day with a guided meditation.

Welcome to your monthly reset—a dedicated moment to come home to yourself.
This once-a-month experience is designed as an intentional pause, a chance to unwind accumulated tension, recalibrate your energy, and realign with the natural rhythm of the seasons.
Yoga and Acupuncture offers a unique synergy: gentle movement to clear stagnation in the body and mind, followed by deep restorative rest that gives your system space to repair, rebalance, and return to the body’s “rest and digest” mode. This session incorporates breathwork, slow intentional asana, and mindful self-massage, gradually preparing the body to receive an extended savasana infused with acupuncture or acupressure.
Each month is crafted with a seasonal component rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. In TCM, the body is influenced by the cycles of nature; each season asks something different of us and highlights a specific organ system, emotional tone, and energetic movement. Integrating this wisdom into your monthly practice supports smoother transitions throughout the year, invites more intentional living, and deepens your connection to your own internal landscape.

At Body Karma Studio, our Mat Pilates Teacher Training is designed to equip you with everything you need to confidently lead safe, effective, and inspiring classes for all fitness levels.

An assessment form will be completed after each session. Once all teaching hours are finished, you’ll meet one-on-one with a course director to review your progress and receive your Certificate of Completion.
