The plank, a pose of many benefits and challenges. Plank pose strengthens the core and arms, increase muscle definition, reduces back pain, increases metabolism and more. During this workshop we will break down the anatomy of a plank, discuss proper alignment, various modifications and of course plank.....like a lot.

Restorative Mindset 4 Week Series

Let That S%*# Go & Restorative Yoga

Tuesdays, April 13 to May 4, 2021       6:30 to 7:30 pm

Restorative Mindset Series are 4 week series that include discussion on a topic and restorative yoga. Each class meets once a week for 60 minutes. Classes will begin with a deep dive into the topic using discussion, activities, sharing or other coaching methods. Then you will be invited to participate in a soothing restorative yoga practice to reflect further on the topic. 

This series will include discussions on how to let things go, something that many of us struggle with. You will be given tips and tools to release what is no longer serving you. Gaining a sense of release and freedom, as you learn to tame the habit loop that keeps us from moving on. 

Restorative Mindset Series will be offered in person and online. In the event of a shutdown or weather all classes will be offered online. Please be sure you are registering for the platform that is best for you. Online participants are welcome to "rent" yoga props for the series at a cost of $15.


This class is being offered as a 4 week series. Credit will not be offered for classes missed by a participant.

Spring Detox Yoga Workshop

Spring is a time of renewal as flowers and trees bloom in the warm spring sun. Our bodies, in tune with Mother Nature, crave a renewal, cleansing, and blossoming in the spring as well. Join Jess for an energetic purifying yoga workshop, designed to stimulate the body to remove toxins and promote healing.
As we move through the world we absorb many toxins (preservatives, pesticides, heavy metals, etc), even our own bodies produce toxins through digestion. The digestive, endocrine, and circulatory systems eliminate these toxins naturally. Unfortunately too much sugar, alcohol, processed food, caffeine, stress, and lack of exercise can slow the body’s detoxifying process. Resulting in fatigue and poor digestion.
In this workshop you learn some simple detoxifying tricks you can use at home. Practice a dynamic series of twist to stimulate the internal organs to release toxins. As well as, practice pranayama techniques that ignite energy from within.
Take this 90 minutes for yourself to renew, cleans, and bloom this spring!

Candlelight Restorative Yoga Workshop

Sunday, May 30, 2021       5:30 to 7:00 pm

Take time out of your busy life to let go and renew. Restorative Yoga is a gentle therapeutic style of yoga that uses props to support the body in restful still positions. The focus is to quiet the mind and restore the central nervous system. It a soothing and nurturing practice, aided by the soothing glow of soft candlelight. Deeply relax and feel refreshed after an hour and a half group session.

Chakra Yoga Workshop

Sunday, June 27, 2021       5:30 to 7:00 pm

In the yoga tradition, the seven primary Chakras are known as the body's subtle energy centers. In this workshop you will gain deeper awareness of these energy centers, creating more balance and stability in the subtle body. Using a combination of gentle asanas, pranayama, meditation, and affirmations we will look for and open blocks within the Chakra system. Allowing the energy to flow freely will promote healing and decrease fatigue, illness, stress, and more!

Yoga for Shoulders

Carry the world on your shoulders? This workshop is for you! Join Jess to better understand the basic anatomy of the shoulder. As well as, how you can approach your  shoulders in a gentle, yet deep, way with a variety of movements and modifications.
