Pilates is a low-impact, strength-building practice rooted in precise movement, controlled breath, and mindful alignment. At Body Karma Studio, our Mat Pilates Teacher Training gives you everything you need to confidently lead safe, effective, and inspiring classes for all fitness levels.
What You’ll Learn
This comprehensive program provides hands-on training in:
Core Pilates principles and teaching fundamentals
Proper breathing and movement techniques
Essential anatomy for instructors
Foundational exercises, sequencing, and class structure
Modifications for all bodies and abilities
Professional cueing, communication, and class management
You’ll have opportunities to practice teaching in a supportive learning environment with real-time feedback from experienced instructors.
Certification & Post-Training Requirements
After the in-person portion, you’ll apply what you’ve learned by teaching 4 hours of Mat Pilates classes within 6 months. An assessment form will be completed after each session. Once all teaching hours are finished, you’ll meet one-on-one with a course director to review your progress and receive your Certificate of Completion.

Course description:
This one day course is the beginning level of Usui Reiki training. You will learn the history of Reiki, gain a basic understanding of chakras, learn basic healing techniques, hand placements and learn to scan the body for energy. You will receive your attunement, hands-on practice, receive class materials and your certification. After completion, you will be able to give yourself Reiki, your family, friends, even pets. We will begin and end the day with a guided meditation.
