Finding Balance, A Yoga Workshop

Prevent fall related injuries by strengthening the body, becoming aware of your movement, and of course, practicing balance! During this workshop Jess will teach you about proper alignment of the body and strengthen legs and core through various yoga poses. An array of balance exercises will be practiced with variations of difficulty and several modifications offered. This series is appropriate for all ages and fitness levels.

$36 per guest, preregistration required.

Looking to tone and strengthen your arms, legs, and core? 

Join Jess for this fun 6 week yoga based sculpting series. Using a variety of movements participants will burn calories, sculpt, tone, and energize. Just in time for beach season!!!! 

All classes will include a workout, proper stretching time and a lengthy, relaxing savasana!

Sunset Forest Meditation

Join Jess as she guides you through gentle movements while using mediation as a powerful tool to reduce stress, anxiety, and creating a sense of calmness in the body and mind. You will enjoy the peaceful setting overlooking the Chapman Mill Pond while  learning skills to enter stressful situations with a sense of equanimity and clarity.

 

Please bring your mat, blanket and other props to make yourself comfortable. Also bring water, sunblock and bug spray.

Crystal Healing and Restorative Yoga

Join Jess for soothing Restorative Yoga poses to encourage you to slow down and open the body through passive stretches. With the use of hands-on placement of crystals it will bring balance to the body  and mind and enter a deep state of active relaxation. Thus, slipping out of the sympathetic nervous system, and into the parasympathetic nervous system where healing begins.

Yoga for Shoulders

Sunrise Yoga Hike

Join Jess for a mindful hike through the forest to connect nature. Beginning with a series of brief stretches and meditation, Jess will provide questions to contemplate as you mindfully walk this moderate trail. Pausing along the way to practice a pose, enjoy nature, and reflect. We  will end with simple stretches and a thoughtful closing meditation while enjoying a beautiful sunrise view.

Please bring water and a towel to sit on for meditation. Wear comfortable clothing, sneakers, sunblock and bug spray.

Join us on a journey designed to deepen your understanding of yoga, your personal practice and create confidence in leading various style and level classes. This comprehensive training led by Jessica Demers will establish a foundation of yoga skills and produce qualified, inspiring yoga teachers who can draw on their practice and personal discipline in imparting the yoga experience to others. This course has been designed with working professionals in mind, meeting one weekend a month for a year it can fit into the busiest of schedules. This also gives you time to absorb the knowledge gained and practice skills reviewed in each session.
