Zumba classes blend upbeat world rhythms with easy-to-follow choreography for a total body workout that burns calories, tones, and sculpts the body. 1 hour will fly by when you “ditch the workout and join the party!”
This class focuses on core strength, centering, relaxation and stress reduction using the breathing techniques developed by Joseph Pilates. It is designed to promote the use of the proper muscles for movement and function in daily life by increasing core strength and balance, and is an excellent way to gently and gradually tone and firm the abdominal muscles. In this class, we use positioning and breathing to help increase awareness of our center of gravity, and strengthen the core muscles that support all body movement and balance. It is a quiet, contemplative, relaxing class that anyone can enjoy and benefit from, regardless of age or physical strength.
Yoga is a commonly known term for the physical, mental, and spiritual practices originated in ancient India. At Body Karma Studio yoga is used as a tool to help stretch, strengthen, find balance, inner peace, and get a great workout at the same time. All classes are tailored to the needs of every student so whether you are just starting out or if you are a seasoned yogi you will find this class a mix of familiar and challenging.

Body Karma Studio is excited to host our Balance Bliss class. During each class participants will learn about proper alignment of the body and strengthen legs and core through various yoga poses. An array of balance exercises will be practiced with variations of difficulty and several modifications offered.
This series is appropriate for all age and fitness levels.
Improve mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, and enhance energy with this gentle form of yoga. Chair yoga uses various props and modifications to seated, as well as, standing poses to create a safe atmosphere for students of all levels.

Using basic Ballet technique and steps, this class is designed to promote overall strength, flexibility and balance, especially for the core and lower body. There is no special footwear necessary, and no dance experience is required. Students should bring a mat, water and a small towel.
